SUMMER In the summer months, when the weather is hot, Cheder Lubavitch Boys School turns on the air conditioning and keeps right on learning Torah! They also take time each day for a fun activity, including swimming or sports, or special trips. Of course they always were ready to help another Jew do a Mitzvah. On a trip to the swimming pool, some of the boys helped the head lifeguard Joey (Yosef) put on Tefillin for the first time in many years. Then a new lifeguard this year, Thomas (Mordechai), told us he was a Yid and has never put on Tefillin before. So right then and there he put on Tefillin to the clapping and singing of all those around! At the end of the summer, the boys have a Grand Trip. This year they went to Haunted Trails and Splash Station in Joliet. It was a great way to wrap up a summer of learning and fun. o p q   t u m
